Dorman Products has recently released an intake Manifold for all 4.6L Cars, 96-00 with the aluminum crossover. If you have a P71, there is a 7 year warranty, but if you have a Civilian Model, (P73, P74, M74, M75) you will have to pay out of pocket costs if the intake fails. The factory intake on these cars is a one piece plastic unit that will fail over time with heat and vibration. Dorman's unit has an aluminum crossover found in the updated kits that Ford Sells.

This new kit comes with ALL gaskets, brackets, fasteners, a new thermostat and gasket, and directions for installing/tightening sequence for the new part.
